Job Description

This digital and design company is developing the future of e-commerce platforms. As well as planning for the future, they ensure designers have the most up-to-date tools and platform for all their needs.

As a backend engineer you will focus on building and maintaining Golang Microservices, whilst keeping a fine balance between speed and quality.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development cycle including designing, and prototyping all the way through to high-performing and scalable production systems

• Create clean and high-quality code

• Make sufficient technology requirements to synchronise your team

• Adopt an agile attitude when working; make changes quickly, provide functional code, and base choices on facts

• Work closely and cooperatively with those around you and other heads of departments

Profile

• 5 years of experience building software products

• Professionally experienced with Golang or PHP

• Knowledge of cloud (AWS) (Nice to Have)

• Prior e-commerce domain experience

• Has the natural ability to solve problems and focus on the positive

• A talent for utilising new techniques and technology to create novel ideas and practise solutions

• Ability to improve and evolve, be open to learning, be able to continuously adapt to changing circumstances, and consistently provide outcomes of the best quality
